Inside the Growth Audit

A deeper look at your business.

  1. Week one

    Understand your business

We start with a conversation about your goals and what is getting in the way. I review your available numbers, learn how the day-to-day work gets done, and speak with the people closest to it. Where location and scheduling allow, I also visit in person to see the business firsthand.

  2. Week two

    Find the opportunities

I look at the customer experience, follow-up, pricing, and internal processes to see where time or revenue is being lost. I also review relevant competitors for useful context and practical ideas.

  3. The readout

    Build your next steps

We walk through the findings together and prioritize the changes that make sense for your business. Your written plan explains what to do, who will own it, and how to measure progress, with estimates of impact where the information supports them. We develop key performance indicators (KPIs) tied to your business goals so you can track progress as you put the plan into practice.

In your Growth Plan

Your plan includes KPIs developed for your business: what to measure, the targets you’re working toward, and how often to review progress. Depending on your goals, those could include revenue, repeat bookings, membership growth, or sales from an event.

  • Findings with supporting evidence and estimated impact
  • A ranked fix list — effort against return
  • A 90-day action plan with owners and dates
  • Relevant competitor insights and opportunities
  • Practical scripts and templates for the agreed priorities

What we find

Five places local businesses leak money

Most owners can name one of these. The audit examines where these patterns may be affecting your business and helps you decide what to address.

  • 01

    The unanswered call

Demand that made it all the way to your phone and then never got a second touch. The most expensive habit in local business, and the cheapest one to fix.

  • 02

    Pricing by memory

Quotes built on what you charged last time instead of what the job costs. It's how your best work ends up carrying your worst margin.

  • 03

    The owner bottleneck

Every decision routes through you. That caps the business at the size of your calendar, and it's why growth feels like punishment.

  • 04

    Books that arrive late

Financials you see six weeks after the fact are history, not information. You can't make a single decision with them.

  • 05

    Invisible marketing spend

Money going out every month with no line you can draw between it and a booked job.

  • “Nothing here is exotic. It's just hard to see from the inside — which is the whole reason I get hired.”
